I’m Christian Martinez
…and I’ve been a UX Designer for more than 3 years with a passion for pixels, data, and a desire to solve people’s most complex problems.
Before my time as a designer, I spent 2 years working in technical support. It was during that time that I understood the importance of user experiences. Nearly more than half of all cases I received from customers were related to “training issues”. These issues were often not knowing what icons meant, which feature could help them complete their work tasks, and countless others that led me to do more for the people who reach out in times of pain and frustration. So I made the transition in April 2022, knowing that more could be done further upstream.
Currently, I’m working at a footwear company called Caleres, with a mission to help customers shop for their next favorite pair of shoes. I’m proud to have led the charge on efforts such as improving their sign-in/sign-up rates, visibility into critical information at order confirmation, and rolling out a special shopping experience with the Jordan Brand.
